The Artsonje Center, opening after two years of preparation, aims to be a venue where visitors can enjoy diverse genres of performing arts ranging across art, music, film, and drama.

We expect the Artsonje Center to let us overcome the geographical difficulties we keenly felt for seven years while running the Artsonje Museum, Kyongju, North Kyongsang Province.

Many museums which have contributed to the support of culture and arts are now in a time of unprecedented hardships due to the shrinkage of the Korean economy since the IMF bailout.
